Before & After Edit Example

What we’ll do

__

Customized plan → field session → edit & takeaway

  • Plan: We define your goals, review gear, and build a location/shot plan using maps, light/tide/aurora tools, and a simple risk checklist.

  • Field: On location we cover composition choices, reading light and weather, histogram use, bracketing vs. filters, focus techniques (single/stacked), long exposure, tripod workflow, backup habits, and Leave No Trace/wildlife etiquette.

  • Edit: Screen-share (online) or café session (in person). Ingest and cull, set a clean base look, targeted masks, color management, noise/sharpening, pano/focus-stack (as needed), and exports for web and print with soft-proofing.

  • Repeatable system: You leave with a step-by-step checklist you can reuse on your next shoot.

Typical flow

  • Half Day: Meet & safety brief → golden-hour field session → mini review.

  • Full Day: Sunrise field → midday scouting or edit block → sunset field → recap.

  • Online (90 min): Goal check → critique or planning → live edit → action items.

What’s included

__

  • Pre-workshop questionnaire + 15–20 min planning call.

  • A custom PDF plan (locations or edit focus) and packing list.
